Wild Lockdown: TREECREEPER

15 April 2020

PIERA BERETTA 2020

I discovered this little treecreeper last week, not far from our home. They are always busy working their way up vertical trees in search of food. Their feet are well adapted for climbing and they use their tail feathers for extra support. Their feathers are a perfect camouflage against the bark of the trees. With their quick movements they resemble mice - until they reach the top of the tree and fly back to the bottom to work their way up again.
