These white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) are also stying alert, which gives the brindled gnus (Connochaetes taurinus) a perfect opportunity to feed safely.
Although this photo looks composed, this is exactly how I came across this group of animals in the wild.
Sadly, rhinoceros are a prime target of poaching with large sums being paid for their horns. For this reason I cannot indicate where I took this photograph.
